Farm & Agricultural Containers

Rodent-proof, weatherproof storage for feed, equipment, and supplies.

Farm & Agricultural Containers

Shipping containers are one of the most practical storage solutions on a farm or ranch. Built from 14-gauge corten steel, they handle everything Texas weather throws at them and keep pests out of your supplies.

Why Containers Work on Farms

  • Rodent-proof: Steel construction with tight-sealing doors keeps mice and rats out. No wood to chew through.
  • Weatherproof: Dry storage for feed, hay, tack, and equipment. No leaks.
  • Secure: Heavy steel cargo doors with lock box resist break-ins far better than a standard barn or shed.
  • Durable: 25+ years on dry land with no maintenance required.
  • No foundation needed: Place directly on compacted earth, gravel, or bare ground.

What to Store in Them

Common uses: feed, hay, saddles and tack, chemicals, fertilizer, tools, farm equipment, ATV/UTV storage, and seasonal supplies. A single 20ft WWT (1,172 cu ft, ~150 sq ft of floor) holds a significant amount of gear. For larger operations, a 40ft WWT provides 2,390 cu ft.

Split Storage with a Duo-Con

If you need storage in two different spots on your property, the 20ft Duo-Con ships as a single 20ft container, then splits into two independent 10ft units on-site. One delivery, two separate containers — each with its own doors.

Which Grade to Choose

For farm use, Wind & Watertight (WWT) is typically the practical choice — affordable, functional, and fully weatherproof. Rural and agricultural land in Texas is often exempt from permitting requirements for storage containers. Check with your county for any specific requirements.

Container Grades Available

Wind & Water Tight (WWT)
About 15 years old on average. Dents, patches, and rust are expected, but they are dry, secure, and functional. The most affordable grade for budget projects.
Cargo Grade
Higher standard with less patching, dents, and rust. Can be certified for shipping cargo for an additional fee.
One-Trip New
Built new overseas and shipped once to the U.S. Excellent condition with only minor dings or surface scratches possible.
