What Is a Double Door Container?
Double Door containers have the same dimensions and construction as standard containers — the only difference is a second set of full-size cargo doors on the opposite end. This gives you drive-through access: load from one end, unload from the other.
When Double Doors Are Useful
- Narrow lots: If the container sits between buildings or fences, you can access from whichever end is reachable.
- Construction sites: Load materials in from one side, pull them out from the other as needed.
- Drive-through loading: Use a forklift or vehicle to load from one end and exit the other without backing up.
- Organized storage: Use one end for frequently accessed items and the other end for long-term storage.
