Portable Storage Containers

Secure, weatherproof storage that lasts 25+ years with zero maintenance.

Portable Storage Containers

Shipping containers are one of the most durable and secure portable storage solutions you can buy. Built from 14-gauge corten steel to survive ocean crossings, they handle Texas heat, rain, and wind without issue — no foundation needed.

Why Containers Work for Storage

  • Weatherproof: Wind and watertight construction keeps contents dry.
  • Secure: Heavy steel cargo doors with a built-in lock box resist break-ins.
  • Long-lasting: 25+ years on dry land with no maintenance required.
  • Rodent-proof: Tight-sealing doors and steel construction keep pests out.
  • No permits needed in most areas for temporary ground-level storage — check your local rules.

Recommended Sizes

The right size depends on what you are storing:

  • 20ft Standard — 1,172 cu ft / ~150 sq ft floor. Holds 10–11 pallets or the contents of a 1–2 bedroom apartment. 20ft WWT is the most popular option for general storage.
  • 40ft Standard — 2,390 cu ft / ~300 sq ft floor. Holds 20–22 pallets or the contents of a 3–4 bedroom home. See the 40ft WWT.
  • 10ft — ~560 cu ft. Half the length of a 20ft, fits in tight spaces. 10ft New One-Trip.
  • High Cube — one foot taller for tall shelving or equipment. See 20ft HC and 40ft HC.

What Grade to Choose

For basic storage, Wind & Watertight (WWT) is typically the practical choice — affordable, functional, and fully weatherproof. If appearance matters or the container will be visible to the public, step up to Cargo Grade or One-Trip New.

Delivery runs 3–7 business days to most Texas locations via tilt-bed trailer — no crane needed. Call for current availability and pricing.

Container Grades Available

Wind & Water Tight (WWT)
About 15 years old on average. Dents, patches, and rust are expected, but they are dry, secure, and functional. The most affordable grade for budget projects.
Cargo Grade
Higher standard with less patching, dents, and rust. Can be certified for shipping cargo for an additional fee.
One-Trip New
Built new overseas and shipped once to the U.S. Excellent condition with only minor dings or surface scratches possible.
