A hard level surface is needed with access for the truck and trailer to back into the site. For a 40ft container, an area 10 feet wide by 125 feet long is needed to tilt it off the rear of a tilt bed tractor trailer. For a 20ft container, an area 10 feet wide by 100 feet long is needed. If you have a tight delivery area, we can offer roll-back wrecker style delivery of 20ft containers — the roll back wrecker will require 75 feet of straight run. Call for pricing for this service. If you have equipment available to unload the container from a flat-bed truck, let us know and we can quote a cheaper flat-bed delivery option. If we are delivering to a plant or facility where there may be delays for security, please add $100 to the base delivery cost.

No hidden fees. The main costs are the container price, delivery, and applicable sales tax. The customer is responsible for all local or international taxes, import value-added tax, customs duty and levy and customs clearance, if any. Major credit cards accepted.

We sell 10ft, 20ft, 40ft, and 45ft containers in standard and high cube heights. Special configurations include double door (both ends), full open side, 4-side-door, Duo-Con (splits into 2×10ft), and refrigerated (reefer) containers. Over 20 container types available.

One-Trip new condition containers are built new in China and shipped one time with cargo in them to the USA. The freight is unloaded and they are made available for sale. You can expect minor dings or dents, surface scratches, and possibly marks on the floor from forklift loading. This grade container is in excellent condition.

Wind and Watertight (WWT) grade containers are about 15 years old on average. You should expect dents, patches and rust on this grade container. They do not have any holes in them and are dry, secure and functional for ground level storage. Cargo Grade containers are graded to a higher standard. This grade has less patching, dents and rust than wind and watertight containers and can be certified and inspected for an additional fee for shipping cargo.

A high cube container is 1 foot taller than standard — 9'6" exterior vs 8'6". The extra headroom is valuable for workshops, home conversions, and tall equipment. For basic storage, standard height works great.

Shipping containers built from 14-gauge corten steel last 25-30+ years on dry land with virtually zero maintenance. Even 10-15 year old used containers typically have 15-20+ years of useful life remaining.

Most containers are delivered in 3-7 business days. In Houston, Dallas, El Paso, and other major Texas metros, same-week delivery is often available.

Containers are delivered on a tilt-bed trailer. The driver backs up to your desired spot, tilts the bed, and the container slides off at ground level. No crane or forklift needed on your end.

Containers can sit on gravel, concrete, asphalt, compacted earth, or bare ground. No foundation is required. A level gravel pad is recommended for best drainage.

Yes. We deliver across all of Texas — including Houston, Dallas, El Paso, and surrounding areas — through our network of container depots. Most Texas locations receive delivery in 3-7 business days.

Absolutely. Common modifications include roll-up doors, windows, personnel doors, spray foam insulation, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and custom paint. We sell the containers — modifications are handled by third-party builders we can recommend.

Simple mods (door, window) take 1-2 weeks. More complex conversions take 2-4 weeks. Full custom build-outs take 4-8 weeks. Timelines depend on the modification company you work with.

We recommend a new one-trip high cube container for most modification projects. One-trip gives a clean, rust-free surface and high cube provides 8'10" interior height — critical after adding insulation and a finished ceiling.

Many areas allow temporary placement without permits. Permanent or habitable installations typically require building permits per local rules. Rural and agricultural land is often exempt for storage use. Check with your local building department.

Some HOAs restrict containers, particularly if visible from the street. Review your HOA covenants or contact your HOA board before purchasing.

Container homes are allowed in many Texas jurisdictions when they meet local building codes, zoning ordinances, and permitting requirements. Some Texas cities have streamlined permitting for alternative housing.
